The program is focused on helping low-to-moderate income participants achieve financial success by offering training in digital literacy, English language proficiency, and industry-specific skills, empowering them to access high-paying jobs and advance their careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis investment from JPMorganChase is groundbreaking,\u201d says Felipe Pinzon, President and CEO of HUF. \u201cWe both seek to create greater opportunities for families to achieve economic prosperity. We have many talented clients that visit us every day. With their support we will be able to link our clients\u2019 existing skills with a vocational training program that will enhance their quality of life.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As part of HUF\u2019s Center for Working Families, the program will serve three main audiences: youth and young adults, working-age adults, and older adults, targeting the 13% of Broward County residents who live below the Federal Poverty Level. It is designed to prepare participants for in-demand industries in South Florida, including aviation, healthcare, and technology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are proud to support Hispanic Unity of Florida in their efforts to address critical workforce needs in Broward County in communities that are often overlooked,\u201d said Maria Escorcia, Southeast Region Executive for Global Philanthropy at JPMorganChase. \u201cOur goal is to empower individuals with the skills and opportunities they need to thrive in today&#8217;s competitive job market, because good paying jobs create strong communities.
