Hispanic Unity of Florida Launches Inaugural Miami Entrepreneur Summit, Bringing 12 Years of Proven Entrepreneurial Impact to Miami on April 17

Miami, FL (March 17, 2026) — Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF), one of South Florida’s most established organizations advancing entrepreneurial success and economic mobility, proudly announces the launch of the inaugural Miami Entrepreneur Summit, taking place Friday, April 17, 2026, at the Doral Cultural Arts Center.

After more than a decade of transforming Broward County’s small business landscape, HUF is expanding its flagship Entrepreneur Summit into Miami-Dade, bringing a dynamic, insight-packed, and community-driven experience that reflects the spirit of Miami’s vibrant and rapidly evolving entrepreneurial ecosystem.

A New Chapter for Miami’s Entrepreneurs
Designed in collaboration with Miami-based founders, advisors, and business leaders, the Miami Entrepreneur Summit will unite innovators, early-stage entrepreneurs, small business owners, and industry experts for a full day of strategy, insights, and practical business tools.

“For more than twelve years, we’ve supported entrepreneurs as they turned ideas into sustainable businesses,” said Felipe Pinzon, President and CEO of Hispanic Unity of Florida. “Miami is a global capital of innovation, with its vibrant, dynamic, and multicultural community. Expanding our Summit here is not just timely, it’s essential to supporting the small businesses that fuel this region’s economy, as Miami-Dade leads the U.S. in small business growth with nearly 4,900 new applications per 100,000 residents annually, equivalent to one per 20 people, while powering two-thirds of local jobs and half of revenue.”

Miami’s Moment: Why Now
Miami continues to emerge as a national leader in entrepreneurship, attracting global talent while cultivating its own homegrown innovators. This Summit is designed to strengthen support for small business owners, especially those from immigrant, bilingual, and underserved communities who form the foundation of Miami’s economic vitality.

A High Energy Event Welcoming 150 Attendees
This year’s Summit is expected to welcome more than 150 entrepreneurs, small business owners, and community leaders from across Miami-Dade. The event will also feature local business advisors, lenders, and partners committed to strengthening South Florida’s entrepreneurial landscape.
