Comprando Rico y Sano program empowers individuals and families to make healthier food choices while gaining access to essential nutrition benefits. Through this program, our trained community health workers provide free, confidential assistance with SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) applications and renewals – helping eligible participants apply with confidence and ease.
In addition to enrollment support, we offer interactive educational sessions, grocery store tours, and cooking demonstrations that promote smart shopping, nutritious eating, and cost-saving strategies. Whether you’re applying for the first time or need help with a recertification, our team will guide you through every step—from gathering documents to submitting your application to the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF). We’re proud to be expanding this program year-round at Gulfstream Early Learning Center, bringing vital resources and support directly to the community.
