Our 2024–2026 Strategic Plan is our roadmap to impact, a bold, collective commitment to self-sufficiency, empowerment, and lasting transformation for generations to come.

Blueprint for Empowerment: A Community-Driven Strategic Plan

Developed through a year-long, community-driven process, this plan reflects the voices, hopes, and needs of the families we serve. It is rooted in their lived experiences and shaped by the insights of those who walk alongside them, our magnificent staff, relentless partners, and mighty Board of Directors. It reflects not only where we are going, but how we will get there, together. It is our North Star.

This is a living, evolving blueprint, grounded in data, guided by collaboration, and driven by purpose. It stands as a testament to what’s possible when communities unite around a shared vision: one that uplifts every voice, unlocks potential, and builds a future where opportunity is not a privilege, but a promise.

Building Blocks of Our Strategy

Our 2024–2026 Strategic Plan is built on four foundational pillars that reflect our long-term vision and values. These will guide every goal, action, and partnership we pursue:

  • Self-Sufficiency & Economic Mobility

    We are committed to strengthening pathways to financial independence by expanding workforce development, supporting homeownership and entrepreneurship, and helping individuals and families build long-term financial stability and economic mobility.

  • Expanding Access to Services

    We are committed to expanding access to HUF’s programs and services by increasing visibility, reaching underserved populations, and deepening community engagement across South Florida.

  • Policy & Advocacy Leadership

    We are deepening HUF’s role in shaping public policy by engaging stakeholders and clients in civic participation, training advocates within our organization, and bridging leadership gaps in Hispanic communities to ensure every voice is heard and represented.

  • Organizational Capacity

    We are positioning HUF for sustainable growth by enhancing internal systems, strengthening infrastructure, expanding strategic partnerships, and aligning our operations with our mission to maximize long-term impact.
