Originally from Venezuela, Silvana came to the United States in 1999 seeking new opportunities for her family. After leaving behind her career and established life, she worked a variety of jobs while rebuilding her future and eventually founded her dance company, Venezuela Danza y Tambor.
With support from HUF, Silvana became a U.S. citizen, gaining greater security, stability, and access to new opportunities. Today, she leads a successful cultural organization and continues working toward her dream of homeownership.
